About the fishing cabin
Our holiday camp is located directly at the best fishing spots on the Hustadvika coastline. Your hosts are from Switzerland and know how to deliver quality when it comes to chalets. You will enjoy well insulated and modern fishing cabins, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The perfect place to get ready for a great day fishing, and get back to with sore muscles of catching those huge cod.
We are proud to say we rent out a wide range of fishing boats, from 17 ft polyester Hansvik boats with 8 HP outboard to 18 ft Polyester Rana boat with 25 HP, sonar and GPS. We also rent out kayaks.
About the fishing
This coastline is one of the roughest in Norway. Thanks to the warm gulf stream passing here, there is a large diversity of flora and fauna present on and around the island. The high concentration of oxygen in the water due to storms and hurricanes in winter and autumn ensure a large and good food supply for all marine life. An ideal place for fishing for cod, coalfish, pollock and even halibut.
If you rent a boat with us, you can find an abundant number of fishing spots, lots of them providing shelter from the wind. But also from land there are great fishing options.
