About the fishing cabin
The fishing lodge is built to accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. There are 3 double rooms and a loft, kitchenette, living room a bathroom and laundry room. But the best selling point is probably the view over the water and mountains on the other side of the fjord.
For each fishing cabin we have a boat for rent, either a 16 ft fishing boat with 15 HP or a 17 ft fishing boat with 25 HP.
About the fishing
Our place is the perfect destination for those who want to fish at ease and cath a wide variety of fish. The fishing grounds nearby offer lots of shelter from the winds so there will almost always be a nice place to catch your daily need of fish. Cod, coalfish and pollack are found everywhere around our island. The last few years light tackle fishing has become increasingly popular, and for a good reason. You are likely to catch more fish, and have more fun while doing so. Note that you can also fish from the shore, catching very nice cod and pollack as well.
When weather permits you can go to the open water westwards where lots of interesting fishing spots are found, with a higher chance of catching even bigger fish. Especially big coalfish may linger around the coastline before really coming into the waters around our islands.
