About the fishing cabin
We offer a rustic two bedroom fishing cabin with ocean view, perfectly equipped for a longer stay. The views from the terrace on the water, with the sun sinking in the sea at night, are just amazing. The cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, lounger corner, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Our largest vessel is a professional 40 ft fishing boat, but you probably are more interested in our 14 to 18 ft sport fishing boats with 4 to 30 HP outboard engines.
About the fishing
You certainly don’t have to go a long way to catch good amounts of fish, since the bay in front of your door is known to be a hotspot. The good thing about the bay is that you can go out fishing on windy days too because of the shelter that is provided here.
At only 10 minutes driving by boat you will see the great wide open waters of the ocean before you. With depths of 220 meters this is where large shoals of cod and coalfish are feeding. If you have the chance to visit us in spring time, you will be so lucky to catch the big mama’s to spawn. These fish are called ‘skrei’ and are at their top weight now.
From May onward, the large and super powerful coalfish and pollack arrive - a challenge for every angler who is not afraid of a nerve wrecking fight.
