About the fishing cabin
The Keepin’ It Reel at The Lakehouse Lakehouse is a 160 acre piece of property located outside of Downing, MO off of Hwy N. The property consists of a Cabin which provides the perfect refuge, to catch a nap, take a break on the deck overlooking the lake, or enjoy a meal you prepare. It sleeps up to 12.
The entire space is available for guests to use. The policy’s are listed in the guestbook manual located on the bar in the cabin. Fishing guidelines are also located in the guestbook manual.
We have a boat ramp for unloading and loading your boat as well as a boat slip to keep your boat during your stay.
Seasonal Hunting is also allowed with a fee.
About the fishing
The stocked 20 acre lake is available for fishing, and carefully managed to support your sporting opportunities. It is stocked with crappie, bluegill, bass, and catfish.

About the area
You will be in rural northeastern Missouri. Everyone is very friendly. There is a local bar/restaurant in the town nearby. The neighboring town (East of your location), Memphis, MO has a little more of a selection on eatery and a grocery store to purchase prior to your stay.
