Fishing Family Apartment near Bergen

The Fishing Family Apartment has two bedrooms for up to 4 adults and 2 children. The fully equipped open kitchen enables you to prepare a great meal. Furthermore you have a laundry room and a bathroom. In front of the apartment you have access to a nice private terrace overlooking the water. 

When it comes to boats, we have a wide range to choose from. To fish the surrounding waters, you will do fine with a 15 ft boat with 9,9 HP outboard. But if you have plans to go to the open sea, we recommend to rent one of the larger boats with a more powerful engine, such as the 17 ft fishing boat with 30 HP outboard. 

The interesting thing about our location is that we offer both great freshwater fishing, as well as saltwater fishing. If you want to catch the fish of your life, you should definitely go to the open sea and hunt the specimen cod (all year round), coalfish (late spring till late autumn) and of course halibut. In case you don’t have any experience in this field, we recommend to use our guiding service so he can show you both the best spots and techniques. 

When it comes to freshwater fishing, there are various rivers and lakes with a healthy stock of both brown trout and Arctic char. Both fish are truly beautiful fish to see, and very challenging to catch. The nearest freshwater to target these species is only 500 meter away from our fishing camp. At 1,5 km distance you will find another larger freshwater with brown trout caught over 4 kg. And please be aware that winter fishing can be very interesting too, with great Arctic char to be caught.
