About the fishing
Lake Gonzales- now just a stretch of the Guadalupe (dam failed) Jonboaters or fancy bass boats & a few pontoons til lake diminished to river channel.
Rental guests, our sons & grands still catching catfish, bass, perch, crappie & gar (if they want them) from mown river’s flat bank with picnic tables & canopies available.

Can launch trolling motor Jonboat from our bank.
Life jackets & water toys in shed.
Lighted pier & bank & all covered, bricked decks & cook area.

How to get there
Off Interstate 10 between San Antonio and Houston.
Get off at Luling exit and go south on State Hwy. 80 to Belmont-intersection of Hwy. 90A (one hour out of SA & 2 from Houston).
Turn left toward Gonzales - about five miles turn right on County Road 481 - follow around to CR 471- turn right follow to 462 CR 471- red chairs by horseshoe pit- travel trailer by road.

We live in Luling, TX- 20 minutes from our river house. After retiring from teaching middle school for 30 years, spare time was spent renovating and doubling the little fish camp we bought from dear friends.
